About DJ Hector
Hector grew up in Los Angeles, California, but is originally from Michoacán, Mexico. The L.A. music scene had a huge influence on Hector while he was growing up — he got to listen to an eclectic mix of music, including jazz, new wave, rap, techno and a wide range of Spanish-language music.
He first began DJing in his parents’ garage for family gatherings, then moved onto DJing parties for friends. In 2018, Hector started Djing professionally and fell in love with bringing people together through music. Finding the right mix for an event and helping people connect on the dance floor is a passion for Hector.
His favorite music to play is hip hop, 90s, reggaeton, cumbia and anything that gets people moving on the dance floor. Being a part of people’s special day is what Hector likes most about DJing.
