About DJ Benni

Ben, AKA DJ Benni, has been involved in event production of all kinds for over a decade. Whether it be his beginnings managing the pro-sound and lighting production team at PSU, his freelance work as an audio engineer, or his professional DJ career, Ben simply loves events and he understands them well.

Originally from the Tri-Cities metro area of Washington, Ben has lived in Portland since 2010 and considers it home now. Music has been a part of his life since learning how to play the guitar as a child, and it continues to permeate all areas of his life whether it be work or play. He loves genres of all kinds, stretching across the spectrum with R&B, heavy metal, jazz, hip-hop, EDM, pop and so much more.

When he’s DJing a wedding, Ben takes pride in knowing that he is part of two individuals’ most memorable day of their lives. He loves to absorb the positive energy at any of his events and express it through various songs he plays. Hopefully next, you’ll invite him to be part of your day.

    What clients
    are saying…

“I highly recommend Stumptown DJs and DJ Benni! From the start it was clear that they are a step above the rest! From the initial inquiry phone call, to creating playlists on their online database, to the final check in with both Matt (owner) and Benni (DJ), the experience was organized, thorough, and fun! Benni set up and managed 3 different sound systems throughout the evening. He kept the dance floor packed for several hours! He also helped us stick to our timeline throughout the event. After my wedding, several guests told me, “I didn’t want the dancing to end!” and “DJ Benni was one of the best DJs I’ve seen at a wedding!” I could not have asked for a better experience or DJ!
