“We worked with DJ Ty for our wedding and we have to say, what an excellent experience. Ty was communicative in the months leading up to our wedding and was nice enough to schedule two virtual meetings with us to discuss the wedding schedule, how to announce things, along with the playlist. It made for a very reassuring experience knowing that Ty knew what we want and even double checked a lot of things to be on the ball. When it came to the actual music and dance party, an overarching comment we got from many guests was, “that was the best wedding dance party we’ve been to”, and we could not agree more. Ty (and Stumptown) were easy to work with when setting up a music playlist. Ty took into account all of the songs we wanted to be played during our reception and was perfect at reading the room to know what to play next and with filling out the rest of the playlist. All the music, from our entrance songs to cocktail hour to dinner jazz to the dance tunes, felt perfectly in place and excellently timed. Overall it was a totally professional experience working with DJ Ty and Stumptown DJs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or other special event.“
