Steven is an intuitive and empathetic DJ, who’s dedicated to making the crowd flow as needed for any event. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections create the desired atmosphere. Having grown up on an eclectic combination of music (rock, pop punk, EDM, synth-infused 80s and country music), Steven draws from a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets that inspire a dance floor that grooves.
A very active member of his local community, Steven loves playing in nightclubs, patios, and at special events, but weddings have become his new passion. He says, “Making a dance floor erupt to a beat is one thing, but being a DJ for two people uniting in love is the real pulse I resonate with.”
Steven’s positive energy is contagious and his crowd-pleasing attitude really shines when he DJs or KJs. (He really loves what he does and it shows!)

Exactly what we wanted!
Let’s start off by saying that Steven was the most incredible DJ EVER. He’s one of Stumptown’s newer DJs but you’d never know it—I’ve seen a lot of wedding DJ’s in my life and I’ve never met one like Steven!!! Our guests are still raving about him—I had some guidance on playlists but other than that let him run with it and his choices couldn’t have been more spot on. Seriously, if you can have Steven for your wedding DO IT. I can’t sing praises enough for him. You won’t regret it! From the ceremony to speeches to dancing and more, he was super helpful, insightful when it came to music, and made sure that the party never stopped.
The experience with Stumptown was amazing from start to finish—Serafina was incredibly helpful in coordinating conversations and making sure we had all the info we needed and Casey was super helpful when finalizing all our playlists and timelines for the wedding.
